Dr. Christopher M Ross

Dr. Ross is an Adelaide-based dermatologist who completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with Honours at Adelaide University in 2004, before completing his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Flinders University in 2008.

Dr. Ross completed his specialised training in dermatology at various hospitals including Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and Royal Adelaide Hospital. In 2016, he was honoured with the Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD). Dr. Ross has contributed to the field by publishing numerous articles in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology. Additionally, he has developed and delivered several educational courses on General Dermatology in collaboration with HealthCert.

Having a particular interest in rural dermatology, Dr. Ross extends his services to communities in Darwin, Clare, Keith, and Yankalilla. He also holds the position of Visiting Medical Specialist at Flinders Medical Centre, where he provides patient care and imparts knowledge to Dermatology registrars. Dr. Ross possesses expertise in various areas of general dermatology, encompassing conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and hair loss.

Recognising the significance of accessible healthcare, Dr. Ross actively participated as a founding member of Dermo Direct. This platform enables him to reach and treat patients residing in both rural and urban areas, while also providing a convenient means of follow-up for existing patients. Dr. Ross is one of the co-founders of Acne Express, an online consultation service that focuses on assisting individuals with concerns related to acne. Within this service, he provides expert advice and guidance to those who are dealing with acne-related issues.
